How Can abdominal Bloating Along With Gastritis Be Treated?
Hi my husband has been having excessive gas, bloating, stomach pain and his stomach feels tight and is sore to the touch. He saw his primary care physician who is sending him toa gastroenterologist but not seeing him until April 20th. It occurs after he eats.
This can be due to acidity in the stomach and indigestion from a deficiency in the enzyme production in stomach and intestines. This condition needs some dietary and lifestyle modification in addition to drug therapy.
I suggest him dietary modifications as:
- Avoid foods which cause gas production like may be an intolerance to milk, onions etc.
- Reduce the consumption and intake of coffee and carbonated beverages.
- Take light meals.
- Have light exercise daily.
- Use milk with curd in solution form but mixed it has an overall healthy effect on the stomach.
You can also take medicines such as:
- Rx Syrup Digene.
- Tab. Pantoprazole.
